We are looking for an experienced Front-End Web Developer to join our Digital Innovation and Engineering team as a Senior Consultant to our client and internal teams. As part of a global team delivering on ambitious missions, we're looking for somebody motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

• Work as a Senior Consultant on our client teams where you will
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Provide leadership for our own internal website capabilities
• Build Rapid POCs and prototypes for GroWorxLabs and client projects
• Lead small engineering squads

• 5-7+ years of experience as Software Engineer or Software Developer or in a relevant role
• Demonstrated experience with portfolio building complex solutions in an enterprise environment
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with global services company desirable
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Experience in ReactJS
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, DurandalJS etc.}}
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
• Understanding of Agile principles and experience in working in Agile teams using Jira or similar
