I. JOB OBJECTIVES

Ensure strict compliance to Product Quality, Food Safety, Sanitation Standards and Process Standards.

II. JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Handle group of Quality Assurance Specialist. Ensures that team performs effectivity to set criteria.
  2. Conducts Quality assurance audit, assuring company standards are maintained and product integrity and safety is preserved. The scope of responsibilities includes but are not limited to the following:

a. Off Site Assignments (Toll Manufacturing Sites, Off site warehouse and storages)

b. On Site / Main Plant Assignment (Commissary)

  1. Ensures standards are met in receiving of all pertinent materials related to the manufacture of the company's products. This would include raw materials, packaging materials.
  2. Ensures standards are met in the dispatch of materials both raw and finished goods prior to delivery to Customers.
  3. Responsible for holding product that is out of specification by collaborating with production in charge to remove products for reworks as it may deemed necessary.
  4. Periodic updates and establishment of standards for current and new products respectively.

    7.Collaborate with R&D for new products update.
  5. Conducts regular product sensory evaluation.
  6. Ensures that Operational and Pre-operational sanitation are conducted which includes the following:

    a. Start up checklist. Work place & equipment sanitation.

    b. Employee hygiene and sanitation checklist.

    c. Inspects delivery or transport vehicles to ensure compliance to sanitation and GMP requirements by the plant.

II. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition or any science related course.

  • At least 2 years' experience in Food Manufacturing company as Quality Specialist or Supervisoг. Technical knowledge or training certifications in cGMP, ISO QMS, Food Safety, HACCP, Pollution Control and HALAL is a plus.

  • Tactful and discrete when dealing with people and confidential information.

  • Knowledgeable in Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance.

  • Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements and compliance.

  • Keen on details and highly observant.
