Quality assurance engineers are essential to ensuring the quality of software products.

We're looking for a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a quality assurance engineer. As a quality assurance engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing defects in software applications.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy & Prioritization: Develop and implement effective test strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage of software applications.
  • Manual & Exploratory Testing: Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects and improve overall quality.
  • Technical Testing & Tools Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Self-Sufficiency & Decision-Making: Work independently to resolve testing-related issues and make informed decisions to drive testing efforts forward.
  • Process Improvement & Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques.
  • Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers, and test case management tools.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with test automation and scripting for API/UI testing.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools.
  • Exposure to cloud environments and testing in distributed systems.
  • Experience with simulators/emulators.
