Intake Audit Specialist

Purpose:

The organization's increasing scale creates an exciting opportunity to be data-driven at multiple levels. The Intake Audit Specialist is responsible for monitoring and auditing incoming and existing client data in a dynamic legal services environment. This role works closely with attorneys, legal support staff, and client services teams, as well as external vendors and partners. The position is dynamic and will evolve as operational needs change and as the successful candidate helps shape the role.

This position is remote; however, candidates must be located in Central Time or willing to work regular Central Time business hours.


Essential Functions:
  • Learn, maintain, and continuously improve intake and data integrity processes
  • Audit, analyze, and reconcile multiple matters, parties, and intake records to ensure data accuracy
  • Identify and resolve duplicate matters and/or clients who do not meet eligibility requirements, including timely processing of lead refunds
  • Coordinate and manage meetings and correspondence with third parties to ensure accurate client reconciliations
  • Identify the root cause of data deficiencies and flag process issues to internal and external stakeholders for collaborative resolution
  • Maintain a strong understanding of lead sources and how they relate to marketing, finance, and systems integrations
  • Manipulate and analyze large datasets to identify problematic or deficient data based on attorney and business needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional requirements for process improvements, discrepancy resolution, and efficiency enhancements

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Sigma
  • Experience with Salesforce is highly preferred
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with large-scale data auditing
  • Background in Legal, Finance, or Data Analytics preferred
  • College degree required

Language Requirement:
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
