Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Math Trainer to lead advanced math training across multiple levels and curricula. This role is critical to expanding our capability beyond primary-level math and ensuring tutor readiness for high school, advanced, and exam-based programs.

This is a hands-on, senior role that combines live training delivery with end-to-end instructional design and assessment ownership. You will be responsible not only for training tutors, but for building and continuously improving the Math Training Program itself.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Delivery

• Deliver live training sessions for tutors across Primary, Middle School, High School, and Exam-level Math

• Train tutors in areas including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, and Probability

• Conduct training aligned to international curricula such as:

  • SAT and ACT Math
  • AP Math
  • IB (AA and AI)
  • IGCSE and GCSE
  • US Common Core
  • Singapore Math
  • Content Creation and Instructional Design

• Design and develop complete math training modules and learning paths

• Create curriculum-mapped guides, problem sets, mock lessons, and assessments
• Build structured training programs for different math levels and client requirements
• Ensure training materials are accurate, scalable, and trainer-ready

• Assessment and Certification

• Conduct tutor assessments, teaching demos, and live simulations

• Define certification criteria per math level
• Ensure tutors are endorsement-ready and aligned with client expectations

• Quality and Collaboration

• Maintain high standards of mathematical accuracy and pedagogical quality

• Collaborate with Operations, Account Managers, and Training stakeholders
• Analyze training outcomes and provide insights to improve tutor readiness and performance

Required Qualifications

• Academic Background

• Bachelor's degree with strong grounding in Mathematics or a closely related field

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline is a strong advantage

• Math Expertise

• Strong mastery of Algebra through Calculus

• Solid understanding of Statistics and Probability
• Proven ability to teach and explain advanced math concepts clearly
• Experience with at least one advanced or international math curriculum (AP, IB, SAT, ACT, IGCSE, GCSE, Singapore Math, or equivalent)

• Training and Pedagogical Skills

• Experience training tutors or teachers (not only students)

• Strong instructional presence and adult learning skills
• Ability to break down complex concepts into structured, teachable frameworks
• Experience observing, evaluating, and improving teaching performance

• Instructional Design and Tools

• Experience developing curriculum and assessments

• Ability to design structured learning paths and certification frameworks
• Familiarity with EdTech platforms, LMS tools, or online training environments

Work Set-up and Requirements

• Schedule: Schedule: May require flexible hours but with focus on mid-shift (start of shift at 12NN or 1PM)
• Workdays: Five-day workweek with two rest days.
• Location: Fully remote
• Desktop/laptop with Intel i5 (10th gen), 8GB RAM or higher
• Minimum 25 Mbps internet speed with backup connection
• Backup power supply for at least 8 hours
