ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Content Writer – Brand & AI Specialist, you will transform structured briefs into human, engaging, and on-brand content. You will adapt tone for different audiences—tutors, B2B clients, and internal stakeholders—while using AI tools as an accelerator, not a crutch.

This is a project-based freelance role. Work will be assigned based on your strengths, specialization, past performance, and availability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write full-funnel content across recruitment, marketing, sales enablement, and corporate communications.
• Tailor tone and messaging for tutor-facing, client-facing, and internal audiences.
• Produce SEO-friendly content aligned with keyword, structure, and intent guidelines.
• Use AI tools responsibly for research and drafting, then refine output into polished, original work.
• Collaborate with marketing, recruitment, and leadership teams for clarifications, iterations, and approvals.
• Deliver high-quality content that is accurate, consistent, and on brand, within agreed timelines.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience and skills
• 2 to 3 plus years of experience in content writing or copywriting
• Strong command of English spelling, grammar, and punctuation with the ability to self edit
• Proven experience in one or more of the following:
• Edtech, education, HR/recruitment, B2B services, or marketing agencies
• Solid portfolio that shows:
  • Long form content such as blogs, articles, guides, or case studies
  • At least one of: landing pages, sales copy, email campaigns, or social campaigns
• Ability to adapt tone for:
  • Tutor facing content that is warm, aspirational, and clear
  • B2B and sales content that is outcome focused and professional
  • Corporate or leadership content that is calm, precise, and brand safe
• Working knowledge of SEO:
  • Focus keywords, headings, basic on page structure, internal links
• AI and brand adaptability
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar to speed up ideation, outlining, and drafting
• Able to transform AI assisted drafts into polished, original content that:
  • Feels human and natural to the reader
  • Matches EDGE's brand voice and guidelines
  • Avoids generic or templated AI language
• Mindset
• Detail oriented with strong ownership of quality
• Able to work independently in a remote setup and communicate clearly with stakeholders
• Curious about startups, tech, B2B, and education
• Open to feedback and iteration to improve copy and campaigns
