Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Inventory Management, with exposure to US-based accounting and Property Management operations. Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is a strong plus.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Accounts Payable processes: vendor invoices, reconciliations, and payment scheduling.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory transactions and cost accounting records.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and intercompany transactions.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
  • Coordinate with property managers and vendors regarding invoices, billing, and other accounting matters.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation and audit trails.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license preferred but not required.
  • Experience with US-based accounting and Property Management companies is a strong advantage.
  • NetSuite experience preferred; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets required.
  • Previous experience working in a remote setup and in US time zones is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
