Procurement Manager (IT Category)

Location: Ortigas, Pasig

Work Setup: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH)

Schedule: Morning Shift

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager (IT Category) who will oversee end-to-end strategic sourcing for IT hardware, software, and IT services. The role is part of a centralized procurement team supporting multiple business units, ensuring timely, cost-efficient, and compliant delivery of all technology requirements.

If you have strong experience in IT procurement, vendor management, and cost negotiation, this role offers a dynamic environment where you can influence major technology decisions.

Responsibilities

  • IT Strategic Sourcing & Continuity
  • Lead sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, and services.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks (e.g., hardware shortages, cybersecurity risks).
  • Ensure continuity and timely availability of technology assets.
  • Support annual planning for software renewals and tech-related investments.

Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Manage the full vendor lifecycle: accreditation, onboarding, evaluation, and renewal.
  • Oversee relationships with hardware distributors, software licensors, cloud platforms, cybersecurity partners, and outsourced IT services.
  • Ensure vendor performance meets agreed SLAs and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and capability assessments.

Cost & Contract Management

  • Conduct cost benchmarking and analyze licensing structures.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms for hardware, software, and services.
  • Drive cost optimization and challenge proposals to ensure competitiveness.
  • Support contract reviews and risk assessments.

Internal Stakeholder Support

  • Work closely with Digital Tech and Business Tech teams to align requirements.
  • Handle requests for additional units, upgrades, or service expansions.
  • Assist Finance with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Recommend sourcing strategies for complex requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline procurement operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of end-to-end strategic procurement experience.
  • Strong background in IT hardware, software, and/or service procurement.
  • Experience in:
  • Software licensing & renewals
  • Vendor/SLA management
  • Cybersecurity or IT service providers
  • Multi-vendor contracting
  • Excellent negotiation, supplier management, cost analysis, and contract review skills.
  • Procurement certifications (CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.
