The Inbound Sales Assistant will be the first point of contact for potential customers inquiring about travel packages, flights, accommodations, and other travel-related services. You will provide exceptional customer service, respond to inquiries, and convert leads into sales while building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone, email, chat, or other communication channels.
  • Provide accurate information about travel packages, pricing, itineraries, and special promotions.
  • Address customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Understand customer preferences and recommend tailored travel options.
  • Upsell additional services like travel insurance, excursions, or upgraded accommodations.
  • Follow up on leads to encourage booking and ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Assist customers with booking travel packages, flights, hotels, and other services.
  • Ensure all travel arrangements align with customer needs and preferences.
  • Process payments and issue invoices or confirmations accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and bookings in the CRM system.
  • Monitor and update availability for tours, flights, and accommodations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, and current offers.
  • Share insights and suggestions for improving sales strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality or related field is required
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service gained from travel agency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and travel booking software.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Passion for travel and helping others plan memorable experiences.
  • Positive attitude, with a focus on providing exceptional service.
