Security Manager

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations Management:

• Oversee daily security operations, ensuring all areas of the resort are properly secured at all times.

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols for all aspects of resort operations, including guest services, facilities, and events.

• Manage the resort's security budget and resources efficiently.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, supervise, and train the security team, ensuring high standards of performance, professionalism, and guest service.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to security staff.

• Schedule and allocate security personnel as per the resort's operational needs, ensuring full coverage during peak times.

Surveillance and Monitoring:

• Maintain the operation of CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment across the resort.

• Review security footage when necessary, investigate incidents, and document findings for management.

• Stay updated on the latest security technologies and recommend improvements to the resort's security infrastructure.

Risk Assessment and Incident Management:

• Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, proactively implementing strategies to mitigate them.

• Respond promptly and efficiently to security incidents, emergencies, or guest complaints.

• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, ensuring quick resolution of critical situations.

Guest and Employee Safety:

• Foster a culture of safety and security among staff and guests through regular training, awareness campaigns, and direct communication.

• Assist with guest inquiries related to safety, lost items, or emergencies, providing excellent customer service.

• Oversee the safe handling of guest belongings and valuables.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and resort-specific security policies.

• Maintain accurate security records, incident logs, and reports, submitting them to management as required.

• Conduct regular safety drills (fire drills, emergency evacuations, etc.) for staff and guests.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with other departments (Operations, Housekeeping, Front Desk, etc.) to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

• Provide security-related support for special events, VIP guests, and other resort activities.

• Maintain a good relationship with the local police, fire departments, and other relevant authorities.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Hospitality Management, or related field is preferred.

• Additional certifications in security

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry.

• Proven experience in managing a security team and handling security-related incidents.

• Strong knowledge of security technologies, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols.
