Job Title: Equipment Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced equipment operator to join our team. As an equipment operator, you will be responsible for operating ground support equipment (GSE) and performing basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Positioning GSE at designated aircraft envelope-parking zones before aircraft arrival
  • Towing cargo and baggage pushcarts/dollies to and from the cargo warehouse and baggage build-up area
  • Ensuring safe connection and secure operation of GSE to aircraft
  • Performing 360-degree checks of GSE before moving to or from the aircraft
  • Brake checks before approaching the aircraft
  • Parking GSE in designated parking areas and completing proper turnover procedures
  • Loading and unloading baggage and cargo within prescribed time frames
  • Installing stanchions and divider nets prior to cargo door closure
  • Exercising care in loading/unloading baggage/cargo to and from the aircraft compartment
  • Securing special loads according to instructions received
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants should have:

  • High School or Senior High graduate
  • Physically fit
  • LTO Professional Driver's License with 1,2,3 restriction code
  • At least 1 year driving experience
  • Ability to operate forklift and man-lift equipment
Experience Range:

1 - 15 years of experience
