As an Importations Assistant, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely arrival of shipments
  • Prepare Landed Cost computation of incoming shipments for quotation and inventory receiving purposes
  • Collect importation related documents such as official receipts, invoices, permits, certificates, clearances, etc., to ensure completeness of documents
  • Receive, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of importation documents
  • Ensure that shipping, handling, storage charges, and custom fees are accurately billed
  • Resolve importations related disputes accordingly
  • Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

  • Graduate of any courses but with preference to Supply Chain Management graduates and Industrial Engineering
  • Knowledgeable in customs procedures and practices
  • Proficient in computer programs such as MS Word and MS Excel
  • With good oral and written communication
  • With or without experience
