The Asset and Inventory team is seeking candidates with the following qualities, which are essential for the success of the asset management process:
Attention to Detail
The team requires an individual who can meticulously track inventory, avoid discrepancies, and ensure all assets are properly recorded, tagged, and accounted for.
Organizational Skills
The ideal candidate should be able to maintain an organized inventory system, track assets, and keep records up to date in an efficient manner. The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks effectively.
Dependability and Accountability
We are looking for a reliable individual who consistently follows procedures, meets deadlines, and ensures the accuracy of inventory records.
Teamwork and Collaboration
While the Inventory Clerk will occasionally work independently, the role requires close collaboration with departments such as Purchasing, Admin, Finance, IT, HR, and Operations. We are seeking an individual with a positive, team-oriented attitude to maintain smooth cooperation and ensure effective communication across all departments.
Physical Strength
When necessary, the team is looking for someone capable of handling physical inventory tasks, including lifting and moving items, organizing stock, and performing inventory audits at various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct random weekly asset inventories and semi-annual scheduled inventories in all storage rooms.
- Conduct scheduled inspections, cycle counting and pullout of assets at other sites as needed.
- Conduct monthly inspections and inventory checks of assets in all departments.
- Prepare a report after each inventory inspection and/or check, following the provided template and/or guidelines provided and/or as directed by the immediate superior.
- Accurately recording of the data into the Google Sheets, including Assets Requests, Asset Return, Transmittal/Transfer Form, and Accountability Forms.
- Scan and link the approved or signed form to the asset monitoring.
- Tag the fixed assets of the company as needed.
- Coordinate closely with the Security Department regarding the movement of Assets.
- Report defective equipment and tools for repair after inspection or as needed, providing findings and an Incident Report (IR).
- Conduct random and scheduled inspections of the Admin Department Tools to ensure that all tools are in the proper place and well maintained.
- Ensure that all storage rooms are securely locked at the end of the working day.
- Ensure that storage rooms are kept clean and organized.
- Assist the immediate superior during scrap selling processes.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.
Minimum qualifications:
- The preferred candidate is male and should be able to work both indoors and outdoors. The role may occasionally involve exposure to dust, dirt, and sunlight.
- A vocational or college degree graduate.
- The ideal candidate should possess a strong personality, demonstrating confidence and assertiveness.
- Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of the 55 methodology for storage room organization is preferred.
(1. Seiri - Sort, 2. Seiton - Set in Order, 3. Seiso - Shine, 4. Seiketsu - Standardize and 5. Shitsuke- Sustain) - Can lift or move heavy equipment (5-10 kgs).
- 1 to 2 years' experience in inventory management or a related role, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets
- Can work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
- Highly dependable and accountable, with a focus on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
