Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits through various methods, including online portals, phone calls, and electronic verification systems.
- Confirm patient demographics and insurance information accurately in the electronic medical records system.
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to obtain necessary authorizations for medical services.
- Educate patients on their insurance coverage, including copays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses.
- Collaborate with billing and coding departments to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Document all insurance verification activities accurately and maintain organized records.
- Assist patients in resolving insurance-related issues or concerns effectively and professionally.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance knowledge and skills related to insurance verification processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, insurance representatives, and internal stakeholders.
Qualification:
- Proven experience in insurance verification, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance terminology, and billing processes.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and insurance verification software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Must be fluent in English Language
- Must be amenable to work onsite at McKinley,Taguig
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php23, Php28,000.00 per month
