Job Overview

The Corporate Lawyer holds a supervisory role within the company and directly oversees the Legal Affairs Clerk/s. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and analysis on corporate, labor, and policy matters to ensure the company's full compliance with laws and regulations.

Key functions include drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents, managing corporate filings, identifying and mitigating legal risks, and providing sound counsel on cases involving the company. The position also supports HR and Management in policy implementation, labor compliance, and resolution of legal concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal analysis and advice on corporate, labor, and policy issues
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and corporate documents
  • Oversee SEC, IPO, and other regulatory filings and compliance requirements
  • Handle legal concerns related to HR, disciplinary actions, and company policies
  • Coordinate and assist external counsels in litigation and other legal proceedings
  • Supervise Legal Affairs staff and ensure efficient documentation and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB/JD); must be a licensed lawyer, preferably with valid notarial commission
  • Minimum of 2 years' combined experience in corporate practice or as in-house counsel in a corporate setting
  • Preferably with experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in a large, diverse organization
  • Strong ability to evaluate a wide range of legal issues and provide sound, practical advice
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to various audiences including employees, senior leaders, and external partners
  • Strong organizational and task management skills in handling a high-volume workload
  • Exceptional contract drafting, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
