Sozio is hiring a
Laboratory Assistant in Sozio PH.

Laboratory Duties:

  • To compound trial formulas and commercial samples. Routine fragrance incorporation in various product forms. (personal care, fine fragrance, home care and household products) for internal and external evaluations.
  • To assist in the evaluation, selection and preparation of fragrances for customer submission in a timely manner.

  • Perform analyses, tests and testing, sampling or labeling following procedure.

  • To assist with the packing, shipping and documentation of trial formulas and commercial samples to Sozio affiliates and customers and coordination with 3rd party parcel agencies.

  • To maintain and upkeep inventory level of raw materials and supplies in the office.
  • To maintain proper maintenance of perfumery laboratory and equipment are used in good order and kept clean and tidy.
  • To record accurate all incoming and outgoing samples / submissions etc.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, such as chemistry, laboratory science, or food technology.

  • Basic Lab Skills: Proficiency in fundamental laboratory techniques is crucial.

  • Administrative Skills: The ability to assist with tasks like managing inventory, filing, scheduling, and data entry is often needed.
  • Computer Skills: Experience with laboratory information systems and data entry is important.
  • Must have the ability to function and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mathematical & reasoning skills required.
  • Good attendance and safety knowledge
  • Experience: 1-2 years relevant experience
