Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Architect to join our in-house team. The Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that all structures are functional, compliant, and aligned with JB Richwell's standards. This role requires a balance of creative design skills, technical expertise, and project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Planning

  • Develop architectural concepts, designs, and detailed plans for building projects.
  • Prepare drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using CAD and other design software.
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to align design with structural and operational requirements.

Project Management and Coordination

  • Oversee construction progress to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during project execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve design or construction issues.
  • Prepare cost estimates, material specifications, and project timelines.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all architectural work meets legal, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, approvals, and revisions.
  • Support the preparation of proposals and presentations for internal and client projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and construction; experience in building management projects is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and project management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
