Overview
We are looking for an Associate‑level SDET / QA Engineer with experience in both Selenium automation and manual testing. This role suits candidates with 1–2 years of hands‑on QA exposure who are eager to grow and contribute to building high‑quality products. Strong preference for candidates who can start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Testing
- Create, run, and maintain basic automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Support senior engineers in enhancing automation frameworks.
- Execute automated test suites and document results.
- Assist with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing activities.
- Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
- Log, track, and validate defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Validate requirements with Product, Dev, and QA teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, retros).
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure test completeness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript).
- Experience with test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman).
- Understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to BDD tools such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
- Git version control experience.
- Basic experience with cloud environments.
Soft Skills
- Clear communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow automation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership.
- Team‑oriented and adaptable.
Other Requirements
- Must be able to start ASAP or within short notice.
- Candidates must be available for immediate start.
- Comfortable with a hybrid work setup in Makati/BGC.
