About the Role

Tailored Management is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Onboarding Lead to lead our Onboarding Team in delivering a seamless and compliant experience for every new hire. In this role, you'll oversee daily team operations, coach and develop Onboarding Specialists, and collaborate with internal partners to ensure our contractors start on time and set up for success. You'll also play a key role in driving continuous process improvements through data analysis and cross-department collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Onboarding Team, managing workloads and ensuring coverage.
  • Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day team questions, escalations, and process decisions.
  • Track onboarding progress and communicate updates to Recruiting and Program Management partners.
  • Analyze onboarding metrics and performance data to drive improvements and meet SLAs.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development to team members through regular 1:1s.
  • Partner with Quality Analysts on monthly evaluations and ongoing training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure a smooth onboarding process and prevent cancelled starts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all onboarding processes, compliance requirements, and client-specific nuances.
  • Lead new hire training for onboarding staff and propose enhancements to increase efficiency and consistency.
  • Prepare and present operational reports and updates to senior leadership.


What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience supporting onboarding or HR operations.
  • 1+ years of leadership or team lead experience.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on simplifying complex processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using an ATS (JobDiva, Bullhorn, Salesforce, etc.).
