WHAT IS AN INTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER?

Our awesome client, a leading telco and internet services provider based in Australia is looking for an Internal Account Manager to be part of their team.

  • The Internal Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of domestic and international customers across the organization and Exchange businesses. The role focuses on nurturing relationships with existing accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and tailored solutions.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of accounts, ensuring consistent communication, relationship development, and alignment with customer goals.
  • Sales Growth: Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue potential.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for customers, understanding their business needs and delivering solutions that support their objectives.
  • Business Development: Support lead generation and new business acquisition efforts by identifying potential customers and market opportunities.
  • Forecasting & Analysis: Provide analytical support including sales forecasting, performance tracking, and market insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Manager Partner Sales and other members of the Sales Team to ensure seamless customer experience and alignment with business goals.
  • This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building long-term customer relationships, and is passionate about driving business growth through strategic account management.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 5 years of experience in end-to-end account management, overseeing the full customer lifecycle from onboarding to ongoing relationship management.
  • Proven ability to manage sales accounts.
  • Skilled in coordinating with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, support) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis for account reporting, sales tracking, and performance monitoring.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to build rapport, present solutions, and handle escalations professionally.
  • Preferably with Telco Experience
