Databricks Developer

3x a week onsite, BGC, shifting

We're looking for a skilled and proactive
Databricks Developer
to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining our critical data workflows and pipelines. You'll use your expertise in data technologies to ensure our data is accurate, available, and reliable for our business and operations teams.

What You'll Do

  • Support and troubleshoot:
    Resolve incidents and service requests for data workflows and integrations.
  • Analyze and resolve issues:
    Perform root cause analysis and implement effective fixes or workarounds for data-related problems.
  • Collaborate:
    Work closely with business and operations teams to ensure high data availability and accuracy.
  • Monitor:
    Proactively monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines within
    Azure Data Factory
    and
    Databricks
    environments.

What You Bring

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong proficiency in
    SQL
    and
    Python
    (or
    Scala
    ).
  • Hands-on experience with
    Spark
    ,
    Delta Lake
    , and
    Azure Data Lake
    .
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like
    Azure Monitor
    and
    Log Analytics
    .
  • Problem-Solving Skills:
    The ability to quickly identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues in complex data pipelines.
  • Communication:
    Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
