Associate Director – Cloud Enablement for AI Platforms

We are seeking a highly experienced Associate Director to lead the proactive enablement of our AI platform capabilities. This senior role will be instrumental in shaping and driving the implementation of backend and cloud infrastructure features (on Azure and AWS Databricks) required to support secure, scalable AI workload deployment, including PII data onboarding and enterprise-grade, service-oriented platform features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and own the AI platform cloud capability roadmap.
  • Design and implement service-oriented platform features to accelerate AI and GenAI adoption at scale.
  • Partner with platform teams to ensure backend infrastructure readiness for secure PII onboarding.
  • Identify, prioritize, and close capability gaps for AI workloads across Azure and AWS Databricks.
  • Develop reusable infrastructure patterns and templates to ensure compliant, scalable deployment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align platform evolution with business, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee rollout of new features into production environments, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Monitor adoption and measure effectiveness of new platform capabilities across multiple AI use cases.
  • Continuously optimize and evolve platform features based on operational feedback.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in cloud platforms and enterprise IT.
  • Deep expertise in Azure and AWS, with practical exposure to Databricks.
  • Strong background in AI solutioning, cloud enablement, DevOps/MLOps, or data engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategize, design, and deliver cross-team initiatives.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and influencing at senior levels.
  • Solid understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks—preferably in financial services or other regulated industries.
