Main Scope

The Service Crew is a flexible team member responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting smooth store operations. This role covers both front-of-house duties (cashiering, order fulfillment) and back-of-house responsibilities (food preparation, kitchen support). The position ensures product quality, service efficiency, and compliance with cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Front-of-House (Cashiering & Order Dispatch)

  • Accurately process customer orders using the POS system and issue official receipts.
  • Monitor and update inventory on Alfred and third-party delivery platforms to ensure product availability.
  • Handle receipt filing, record-keeping, and assist with basic administrative tasks.

Back-of-House (Line Cook & Kitchen Support)

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ensure proper food portioning, quality, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas in compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Team & Operational Support

  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely food preparation and order dispatch.
  • Contribute to efficient daily operations while upholding CQSMA standards (Cleanliness, Quality, Service, Maintenance, Atmosphere).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and proper documentation of receipts and transactions.
  • Speed and efficiency in order processing and dispatch.
  • Contribution to overall preparation and cooking efficiency.
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Effective teamwork and clear communication.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service or kitchen environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, kitchen tools, and basic food preparation.
  • Willingness to work shifting schedules, including a 6-day workweek.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
