
Sr. Training Specialist

Reporting to the Manager of Learning and Development, they will design and deliver technical courses and skill-based training that align to learning and development priority of the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the execution of business as usual, small-scale training program.
- Lead or support quick wins process improvements and initiatives that will improve learning and development operations.
- Lead or support in conceptualization, preparation and implementation of new courses/s.
- Work and develop relationships with trainers, consultants and learning business partners in delivering function or organization wide learning and development programs or initiatives.
- Assist in completing the learning numbers and reporting of function and entire organization.
- Perform and administer external training by connecting to vendors to support the learning and development priorities of the function.
- Facilitate technical courses and high-priority courses to the employees and/or leaders.
- Create and maintain a variety of training documents and aids.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business-related course/programs.
- Must have at least 4-5 years' experience in Learning and Development/OD/Talent and or related fields combined
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in managing and executing programs
- Experience in process improvement and project management is a plus
- Experience in eLearning instructional design is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong Program Design, Delivery and Evaluation
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Agile project management skills
- Ability to proactively respond to situations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e. mastery of excel formulas and pivot tables is a must). Proficient in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Project.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and adapt to change while managing time and workload with aggressive timelines.
