Carpenter/Painter

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Execute daily maintenance tasks and respond to repair requests.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.

· Prepare surfaces (e.g., sanding, patching, priming) before painting.

· Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and furniture.

· Maintain painting tools and safely store materials.

· Build, install, and repair wooden structures such as doors, cabinets, partitions, and furniture.

· Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.

· Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

· Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.

· Install fixtures, shelves, and other hardware.

· Conduct general upkeep such as replacing bulbs, fixing leaks, and assembling furniture.

WORK SETUP

· Shifting schedule

· Office and mostly site work setup

· May require to work during weekends
