Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer, you will take ownership of high-impact product features across the front-end and back-end while guiding system architecture and development standards. You will mentor developers, enhance engineering workflows, implement AI-driven development practices, and support long-term technical resilience across the platform.

Shift: Day shift, 9AM onwards (NZ time), weekends off

The Qualifications We Seek

• 5+ years of software development experience in modern SaaS environments
• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to guide standards and best practices
• Advanced proficiency in C#, TypeScript, React, and experience working in Azure
• Proven ability to migrate and transition codebases from external developers to in-house teams
• Skilled at interpreting, refactoring, and documenting legacy or inherited code
• Ability to proactively identify solutions and improve engineering workflows
• Experience using and integrating AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CodeRabbit, Cursor)
• Excellent communication skills, especially when explaining technical decisions
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Curiosity, strategic thinking, and a willingness to experiment with AI and contribute to internal R&D efforts, helping integrate AI-driven methods across the engineering lifecycle
• Bonus: Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or data-heavy products

Your Daily Tasks

• Lead design and delivery of core product features across front-end and back-end
• Own and refine system architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and security
• Mentor and support junior and intermediate developers to raise the technical bar
• Drive adoption of AI-driven development workflows (e.g., Copilot, Code Rabbit, Cursor)
• Champion engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
• Partner with the founder/CTO on product roadmap and technical strategy
• Identify opportunities for new features, improved automation, and long-term technical resilience
• Communicate engineering decisions clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Shape internal R&D capability and lead AI integration initiatives
