The Shift Engineer is responsible for overseeing projects that involve various air-conditioning systems, including chillers, AHUs, VRF systems, and other packages. This role ensures that meet quality standards, and stay within budget, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety and environmental considerations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and operate mechanical equipments, HVAC, generators, pumps, and fire protection systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Respond to system alarms, breakdowns, and emergency maintenance requests.
  • Maintain logs and records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments. Work with maintenance teams and contractors to resolve major system failures.
  • Ensure quick response to breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Follow safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures. Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to enhance workplace safety.
  • Coordinate with other shift engineers, technicians, and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover between shifts. And report equipment status, incidents, and maintenance needs to the engineering supervisor or facilities manager.
  • Oversees project implementation to ensure it aligns with the approved plan, budget, schedule, specifications, and safety requirements without compromising quality, while supervising subcontractors.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering and hold a valid Professional License.
  • Requires a minimum of 2–3 years of HVAC-related work experience in a relevant field.
  • Must be willing to work on a shifting schedule and report to the Alabang, Muntinlupa office.
  • This is a project-based contract position with a 1-year duration.
