QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology
  • Master's in Guidance Counseling
  • 3–5 yrs counseling experience (testing, placement, research, etc.)
  • Knowledge in school operations & student population management
  • Strong communication, leadership & relationship skills
  • Skilled in research, database & critical thinking
  • Works well with diverse student backgrounds
  • Excellent English (written & spoken)
  • Strong problem-solving & organizational skills
  • Independent, student-focused & self-motivated
  • Willing to work on Saturdays

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a guidance program aligned with academic goals
  • Provide guidance services: counseling, testing, placement, group guidance, and student support
  • Prepare intervention programs for referred students
  • Create yearly guidance modules to meet student needs
  • Assess students' abilities and interests using tests and interviews
  • Identify school issues affecting student performance
  • Conduct seminars or workshops on school issues and career planning
  • Help the Admissions Office with entrance exams and group testing
  • Refer potential mental health cases to partner clinics
