Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Inpatient Coder located in Manila. The Inpatient Coder will be responsible for assigning accurate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and medical services based on clinical documentation. Daily tasks include reviewing patient records to ensure proper coding, collaborating with healthcare providers for clarifications, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations as well as coding standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven coding experience, including inpatient medical coding expertise
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with Health Information Management processes
  • RHIT certification or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong understanding of healthcare policies, coding regulations, and industry standards
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is an advantage
