The Role

As a
Remedial & Collections Officer
, you will play a key role in managing client relationships post-disbursement, ensuring healthy portfolio performance, and mitigating risks. You'll handle accounts that show early warning signs, proactively engage with clients to resolve payment issues, and design repayment strategies that balance business sustainability with client success.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify accounts at risk.
  • Engage directly with clients to resolve delinquencies through negotiation and restructuring.
  • Prepare reports on collections performance, account status, and recovery strategies.
  • Work closely with Credit and Risk teams to align on solutions that protect the loan portfolio.
  • Stay updated on regulatory and industry practices to ensure compliant and effective collection strategies.
