Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Finance and Accounting team. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial operations, reporting, and analysis, providing valuable exposure to real-world corporate finance and accounting practices. Ideal candidates are students or recent graduates pursuing degrees in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities: Accounting Tasks:

  • Assist in preparing journal entries and reconciling ledger accounts.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Help with accounts payable/receivable and bank statement reconciliation.
  • Prepare and update financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Assist with tax computations, audits, and returns.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

Finance Tasks:

  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to support strategic decisions.
  • Assist in financial modeling and variance analysis.
  • Contribute to special projects such as M&A analysis, internal audits, or cost optimization.

Administrative & Support:

  • Organize and maintain financial filing systems.
  • Attend meetings and seminars to expand industry knowledge.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
