Job Description

We are looking for a senior full stack developer who is technically strong, disciplined in delivery, and highly communicative. This role requires both strong coding skills and the ability to work transparently within a distributed team environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications
• Take full ownership of assigned tasks and proactively resolve blockers
• Document technical design decisions and task progress in Jira
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Implement and maintain automated tests
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices

AI-Augmented Development (Mandatory Expectation)

• The team fully integrates AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) into daily development workflows.
• The successful candidate is expected to actively use AI to improve coding speed, solution quality, documentation, code reviews, and technical research.
• Reluctance or refusal to adopt AI-assisted workflows will be treated as a serious performance concern.
• Effective AI utilisation is essential to meet delivery expectations and align with company standards.

Key Behavioural Expectations

• Requirements clarification is expected upfront before starting development
• Assumptions must be validated and documented — no silent decisions
• Regular task updates via Jira and Teams are mandatory
• Clear and timely communication is non-negotiable in a distributed environment
• Consistent use of AI tools to optimise coding efficiency and solution quality is required
• Failure to incorporate AI-assisted workflows will impact performance evaluation

Key Responsibilities

• 7+ years of full stack development experience

• Strong proficiency in:

• C#
• .NET Core
• ASP.NET (MVC & Web API)
• Entity Framework or Dapper
• SQL Server (strong SQL skills)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Git version control

• Experience in:

• Writing maintainable, well-documented code
• Following structured development workflows (e.g. task tracking, documentation, code reviews)
• Communicating technical decisions and rationale clearly in written form (Jira, documentation)

• Active and effective usage of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot) as part of development

• Desirable / Nice-to-Have:

• React, Angular, or
• TypeScript
• Modern REST API design and implementation
• Azure (or equivalent cloud platform experience)
• Docker and containerisation
• Automated testing frameworks
• eCommerce systems
• CMS development
