Position Title: In-House Sales Manager
Department: Sales and Marketing
Reports To: President / General Manager
Supervises: Sales Executives / Sales Associates
Role Overview
The In-House Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the internal sales team to achieve company sales targets and ensure excellent customer service. This role involves developing effective sales strategies, monitoring performance, motivating the team, and coordinating with other departments to drive overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to meet or exceed targets.
- Forecast sales performance, set monthly/quarterly goals, and monitor progress.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and expand the customer base.
Team Leadership & Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for improvement.
- Organize regular sales meetings and report team performance to management.
Sales Operations
- Oversee day-to-day sales activities in-house (calls, walk-in clients, online inquiries).
- Ensure the team responds promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
- Monitor and approve quotations, proposals, and sales contracts.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, and customer data.
- Prepare regular sales reports and market analysis for management.
- Track competitors and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaboration
- Work with the Marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and lead generation.
- Coordinate with Finance for pricing strategies and collections.
- Align with Operations/Logistics to ensure smooth product or service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience (3–5 years) in sales management, preferably in Real Estates/Construction/Land Development.
- Licensed Real Estate Broker or Accredited Sales Person
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Results-driven, customer-oriented, and highly motivated.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
- Must be able to deliver required sales quota
