Job summary:
Assists the Sales Manager in the preparation and management of the Annual Sales Budget and Expenditures. Ensures achievement of the assigned monthly sales volume as per budget. Ensures timely collection of all customers' payments/trade account receivables within credit terms. No Overdue accounts outside of the account's credit terms. No Long overdue accounts beyond 91 days. Ensures strict implementation and adherence to all existing policies, systems and procedures of the company and that all personnel maintain a high degree of integrity and honesty in the performance of their duties and responsibilities as per Code of Conduct. Ensures completeness in the details of the Customers Information Sheet in all Sales Contracts and Account Master list.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the achievement of his group's sales volume/target in his area of assignment.
Develops and recommends Sales Target and Sales Strategies covering his assigned territory indicating:
Targeted Sales volume
Realistic assessment of economic condition
Specific strategies and action plans based on actual data market experience provided by Sales Engineers.
Identify projects leads from specific target market segment.
Prepares list of projects that will be targeted within his assigned territory and assigns these to his Sales Engineers.
Monitors development of sales leads until closing.
Supervises efficient time management of Sales Engineers to ensure timely visit to all customers and potential accounts by using effective feedback mechanism.
Prepares work plans and determines/ identifies which accounts/ dealers are to be prioritized with the approval of the Sales Manager.
- Accountable in monitoring projects for bidding, undergoing negotiation within assigned territory.
- Identifies other project leads aside from architects & Engineers from the specific target market segment.
Assures all potential accounts assigned to Sales Engineers are converted into opportunities.
Submits weekly price monitoring analysis report with proposed price recommendation to enable us to get the project.
Submits accomplishment/activity report to include sales volume achieved. New potential for closing and other opportunities to ensure efficient time management of each Sales Engineer. Establish sales performance parameters as performance indicators in achieving sales target.
Grows active accounts through repeat orders, quality service, and harmonious relationship with all customers.
Monitors & prepares reports on competitors' activities to include prices, estimated total products delivered per company in the area per month & and other market information that will assist Marketing in developing counter strategies.
Prepare comparative analysis on projects that will need price & terms adjustment etc.
Ensure 100% collection of all accounts receivables and compliance with the approved terms and condition.
Enhance sales personnel skill by providing hands-on sales & technical trainings.
Monitors customers' product acceptance by using indicators that will enable us to measure the level of satisfaction & acceptance of customers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of ten (10) years in selling construction related materials, five (5) years of which should be in supervisory position.
- Preferably graduate of Civil Engineering or Architectural from reputable Universities. Preferably passed the Engineering or Architectural licensure examination.
