Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with the Project Manager/s to help define project goals and objectives;
  • Identify and maintain project schedules; Identify, create, and maintain project budgets;
  • Ensures that projects operates within the set budgets (Profit & Loss);
  • Monitor and control project costs, in relation to Project timeline and milestones and be able to capture immediate deviation in budget and timelines and be able to provide recovery plan in such cases of deviation.
  • Coordinates with the Project Manager/s, Hardware, Software, and Commissioning teams for project milestones and updates of project status;
  • Generates management reports and profitability analyses that would provide analysis on progress reported against the work schedules;
  • Recommends actions to improve progress; Provides project finance reporting; and
  • Works directly with the Billing & Collection Officer to ensure project billings are executed based on actual accomplished milestones and deliverables. Ensure adherence to company financial policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Expectations on the Job:
  • Monitoring costs and budgets Monitoring costs and budgets keeps projects on track. Budgeting :
  • Details cost estimates for each project activity as per project offers. Approves and monitors budgets to avoid overspending.
  • Adjust budgets in response to changes in scope or requirements.
  • Cost tracking : Tracks actual costs incurred for each activity and scope of the project
  • Compare actual costs with planned costs to identify variances. Provides detailed reports for an overview of expenses.   Deviation control :
  • Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs to understand the causes. Implements corrective actions to align expenses and budgets.
  • Use projection tools to forecast future costs and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in project controlling, cost control, or project accounting. Knowledge of project management tools and financial systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity on Project Management (PM) systems and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyse information from various resources.
  • Knowledge of facilitating purchase requests and the ability to review them for technical accuracy and project

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php45,000.00 per month
