The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal functioning. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical components.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them in a timely manner.
  • Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning parts, fixtures, or appliances.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
  • Operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments or contractors as needed.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or a related field (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity.
