POSITION SUMMARY

SUPERVISE THE DESIGN GROUP OF THE PROJECT COST CONTROL DEPARTMENT (PCCD)

DESCRIPTIONS OF FUNCTIONS

1. Value Engineering

  • Leads in the identification and submission of probable value engineering items for approval of the client.

  • Initiates and provides technical direction for research and development programs to enhance or improve existing construction methods in order to shorten construction and lower construction cost without sacrificing quality and safety.

2. Design & Build projects

  • Leads in the production of construction drawings. Ensuring that the design/s are available to those who need them at the appropriate time.

  • Leads in the coordination of design data, parameters and other pertinent data necessary to complete the design.

  • Leads in the presentation of design to client

  • Leads in various design meetings

3. Construction Planning

  • Coordinates with the Project Management team (PMT) and QS team, in the planning and preparation of the project/s prior to submission of bids.

4. Other Design Requirements

  • Leads in the standardization of temporary facilities plans, preferably by making them portable, transferable and re-usable.

  • Leads in the preparation and approval of another design/s as may be required

5. Other Works

  • Performs other tasks as may be required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed Civil Engineer (Preferably)

  • With Civil Structural Design Certifications/License or Member of ASEP (is a plus)

  • At least seven (5) years of relevant experience in the same field is a must

  • Must be willing to be assigned in Alabang, Muntinlupa City

  • Can start as soon as possible
