About the role

Glades International Corporation is seeking an experienced and proactive Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic finance team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the accounting operations and financial reporting for our organisation based in Biñan City, Laguna.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to support decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices
  • Train, mentor, and provide guidance to the accounting team to enhance their skills and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business objectives

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the financial accounting and reporting domain
  • Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
