Accounting Supervisor

Description

  • Oversee day-to-day General Accounting operations at MPPC which include checking of invoices prepared, reconciliation of accounts receivables, prepararation of projected collection and approval of petty cash reimbursements.
  • Oversee monthly Inventory Audit activities and present recommendations for process improvement and cost savings
  • Support in ensuring compliance with PEZA, BOC, BIR, LGU, BFP and other external parties through proper documentation, processing activites, reports submissions and liaising with internal and external stakeholders for the completion of requirements.
  • Represent the company in discussions with PEZA, BOC, BIR, LGU and other external parties in connection with compliance and stakeholder engagements.
  • Monitor Finance and Accounting staff's performance on a daily basis
  • Develop policies and procedures to meet business targets

Qualifications

A. Must-Haves

  • Accounting or Finance Background
  • At least two years work experience as Accounting Supervisor; a total of five (5) years of experience handling General Accounting such as Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Inventory.
  • Must be organized, systematic and with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills; must work well with others
  • Business Management background

B. Nice-to-Haves

  • Work experience in Compliance or Administration handling liaising responsibilities with external parties such as PEZA, BOC, BIR, LGU, BFP, etc..
  • Experience in tax studies, including but not limited to Income tax regimes, capital infusion, transfer pricing documentation and loan restructuring
  • Experience in project management and coordination
  • Strong analytical skills; able to understand trends in data and deduce observations from numbers
  • Ability to prepare management reports and give recommendation based on available data
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Advantage in having exposure to Oracle ERP system
