Site Engineer

The Planning Engineer is responsible to set-up a project plan in terms of staff and equipment mobilization, detail design, design verification, procurement of materials and equipment, construction activities to be carried out on different sections, etc. He is also responsible to work closely with the project team and set-up the best working plan for the project as well as the following:
a) Project Planning: Creating detailed schedules, defining tasks, and managing resources using techniques.
b) Progress Monitoring: Tracking progress, updating schedules, and preparing regular reports.
c) Risk Management: Identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and managing contingencies.
d) Communication & Coordination: Serving as a liaison between stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
e) Budget & Cost Control: Estimating and monitoring costs, ensuring the project stays within budget.
f) Documentation: Maintaining records of changes, delays, and decisions.
g) Quality & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
h) The role requires strong project management skills, proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6), and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
