Position Title: Operations Supervisor – Hub Supervisor

Department: Operations

Reports To: Hub Manager / Area Operations Manager

Location: Kabankalan, Negros Occ.

Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor – Hub Supervisor is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of daily hub and warehouse operations. The role ensures the on-time, secure, and proper handling of cargo, as well as its accurate delivery to consignees. This position requires close coordination with various departments, branches, and agents to maintain service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Planning & Execution

  • Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day operations at the on-site hub/warehouse.
  • Ensure timely loading, unloading, sorting, and dispatching of cargo.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and ensure on-time, accurate, and secure cargo handling.

2. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with different departments, branches, agents, and couriers for smooth cargo movement.
  • Resolve operational issues and provide support to ensure service commitments are met.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for hub-related concerns.

3. Process & Compliance

  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
  • Implement and monitor proper documentation and reporting of cargo movements.
  • Safeguard cargo against damage, loss, or pilferage through strict adherence to security measures.

4. People Management

  • Supervise, guide, and monitor hub staff, loaders, and couriers to ensure productivity.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluation to team members.
  • Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, and teamwork within the hub.

5. Reporting & Improvement

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Support cost-control measures and optimal resource utilization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field (preferred).
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or hub operations; with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Willing to work on flexible schedules, weekends, and holidays as needed.
