Position: IT Specialist

Job Description

The IT Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and security of the company's information technology systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity, POS systems, and CCTV infrastructure, while providing timely technical support to users across the organization and retail outlets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and system maintenance
• Experience in internet and network troubleshooting
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems used in retail or food service operations
• Experience in CCTV installation, configuration, and monitoring
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide technical support and explain issues clearly to non-technical users
• Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
• Willingness to provide on-site support across company outlets as needed
• Willing to travel within Cebu to provide on-site support for restaurant outlets, as needed

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, peripherals, and software
• Perform regular system maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security
• Diagnose and resolve internet connectivity and network-related issues
• Maintain, support, and troubleshoot POS (Point of Sale) systems in all company outlets
• Install, configure, administer, and monitor CCTV systems to ensure continuous operation
• Provide technical assistance and support to employees for various computer-related concerns
• Conduct system checks, updates, and backups as required
• Document IT issues, solutions, and system configurations for reference and reporting
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when necessary
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and best practices
