Corporate Tax Lawyer
is responsible for the following:

  • Provide strong support to the Global Tax Director/Head.
  • Handle and resolve low to moderate tax issues in daily operations.
  • Assist in resolving complex tax issues.
  • Draft tax memoranda, BIR ruling requests, protests, and legal briefs.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of Philippine tax laws and regulations.
  • Review tax-related reports and returns prepared by Accounting Shared Services, including:
  • Quarterly income tax returns
  • Reconciliations and schedules required by BIR/BOC examiners for tax audits
  • Documents for submission to BIR/BOC examiners
  • Participate in tax planning for the Jollibee Group.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Must be a licensed lawyer.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Tax practice with Accounting/Tax Firms with at least three (3) years experience in handling of Tax functions in private/ multinational companies
  • Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City (Hybrid set-up)
