Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining hardware, software, and network systems while providing responsive support for incidents and service requests. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities to ensure smooth IT operations across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting

    o Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops and laptops.

    o Provide support for Windows operating systems, Microsoft Server, VMware, and Remote Desktop (RDP).

    o Perform upgrades, patches, and system maintenance as required.
  • Network Administration

    o Configure and troubleshoot network connections, access points, and Wi-Fi.

    o Support network connectivity issues across departments and devices.
  • Incident & Service Request Management

    o Respond to IT service requests and incidents promptly and proactively.

    o Document issues, solutions, and provide timely updates to users.
  • Communication & Reporting

    o Report directly to the IT Supervisor with updates on system status, incidents, and ongoing projects.

    o Maintain clear and professional communication with end-users and team members.
  • Project & Task Execution

    o Handle immediate IT tasks and assigned projects efficiently.

    o Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge in Windows OS, Microsoft Server, VMware, and RDP.
  • Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop troubleshooting (software & hardware).
  • Familiarity with network configuration and troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi/access points).
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently.
