Job Description 】

・Financial Closing: Execution and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes; reporting consolidated financial statements to the head office in Japan.

・Cost Accounting: Management of cost accounting processes in a manufacturing (factory) environment; conducting cost analyses.

・Tax & PEZA Compliance: Preparation and filing of various tax returns with the BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue); submission of reports and compliance requirements to PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority).

・Audit Coordination: Handling of external financial audits and audits/inspections from BIR, PEZA, and other authorities (experience with tax investigations is a plus).

・Financial Management: Budget preparation; monitoring budget vs. actual performance; cash flow management; supervision of banking transactions.

・Team Management: Oversight, guidance, and development of accounting staff (including managers); ensuring smooth handover of responsibilities.

・Process Improvement: Reviewing and proposing improvements to existing accounting processes; strengthening internal controls.

【 Requirements 】

【Must】

・Practical accounting experience in the manufacturing industry (minimum 3 year)

・Experience working in a PEZA-registered company

・Experience in accounting team management or as a supervisor

・Experience using an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.)

・Advanced PC skills for handling large volumes of data (especially Excel)

・Other: Minimum tenure of 3 year at the most recent employer (emphasis on employee retention)

【Preferred Qualifications】

・Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines

・Practical experience in tax audits and dealing with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)

・Extensive experience as an Accounting Manager (approximately 5 years or more)

・Experience working in Japanese companies

・Proficient in using Microsoft Dynamics
