We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and SQL, with a strong understanding of mainframe systems and processes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe applications to support critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for DB2 databases.
  • Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement enhancements, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Monitor batch jobs, resolve production issues, and support system migrations when needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related coursed.
  • Strong experience with Mainframe systems.
  • Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
  • Solid understanding of DB2 and SQL for database management.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
