Job Requirements

Summary:

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve developing and maintaining Cobol Mainframe applications to support business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

  • Develop and maintain Cobol Mainframe applications.

  • Collaborate with team members to analyze and understand business requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.

  • Implement best practices for application development.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.

  • Experience in working with relational databases.

  • Knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.

  • This position is based at our Manila office.
