We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Manila. 

In this role you will craft robust systems and beautiful interfaces, write clear, performant, testable and elegant code and be a strong advocate for modern development practices. Additionally, you will collaborate with others in technical discussions, code reviews and architecture reviews. The ideal candidate for this role brings an analytical mind with strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities, as well as being comfortable in fast-paced agile environments, switching contexts between frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

What you'll be doing:

You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of our Hospitality platform, including POS, payments, loyalty, and more. 

• Building stuff. This includes feature development, bug fixing, performance improvements, code reviews, peer programming, incident response, etc.
• Planning/architecture. You will collaborate with others in the Product team on spec review, architecture and systems design, and implementation
• Learning and teaching. Contributing to innovation and tech talks, and helping other developers to "level up"
• Enabling. Working on common services, introducing new tooling or libraries, documenting and evolving best practices for development, etc. 
• Contributing. As part of the wider team to achieve organizational objectives even if this means doing things that aren't strictly within the scope of your role

What you need to bring:

• Previous experience as a Senior Software Engineer including both successes and failures ("scars"), which help you make better decisions
• Collaborative, test-driven, and agile full-stack development knowledge
• Deep experience using PHP, Typescript, and React
• Solid database knowledge (MySQL or Postgres), with ability to write efficient queries and optimise performance
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services
• Experience with AWS, including services such as SQS, Lambda, and Redis
