The purpose of the Senior IT PMO Analyst role is to lead the monitoring and reporting of the IT product and project portfolios in alignment with our Delivery frameworks, ensuring we have high quality data / information to support portfolio planning, financial due diligence and a clear understanding of project health.

What will you do?

We know the work we do is vital in assisting Aurecon's business globally. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.

Portfolio Analysis & Reporting

• Lead the consolidation of data from the various delivery teams for the purpose of monitoring, status reporting and producing insights for decision-making
• Deliver analysis and insights across the project and product portfolios, working closely with the IT PMO Data Lead

Governance & Assurance

• Support portfolio governance forums, ensuring adherence to delivery frameworks, standards and stage gates
• Prepare packs for portfolio reporting

Planning and Forecasting

• Support integrated planning across projects and product squads, enabling forward-looking portfolio forecasting (costs and resources)

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline PMO processes and templates, working closely with the IT PMO Manager for delivery governance uplift initiatives in line with the modern ways of working of the organisation
• Drive the use of Microsoft Copilot for repetitive and administrative tasks such as summarisation of meeting minutes, narrative composition and data analysis including any other opportunities

Firstly, strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, and adaptability to varying request. Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills. You will also need the following capabilities:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years industry experience, including 3+ years in IT PMO, Portfolio Office, or Project Delivery roles in enterprise settings
• Exposure to enterprise platforms like Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and ServiceNow (preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Jira reporting
• Strong grasp of both traditional project management and agile delivery frameworks
• Expertise in portfolio financial management and resource planning
• Skilled in translating complex data into clear, executive-level insights
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and written communication
• Comfortable working in hybrid delivery environments (projects + product squads)
