JOB SUMMARY

The Research Engineer plays a key role in a new undertaking by leading the development of innovative construction technologies and methodologies. This position focuses on advancing construction practices through research, testing, and collaboration—enhancing efficiency, quality, and sustainability across all our real estate projects.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Research and evaluate new construction materials, systems, and technologies applicable to residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
  • Develop and test innovative building methods to improve cost efficiency, speed, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with Project Development, Design, Planning, and Construction teams in the development of new product concepts and feasibility studies.
  • Recommend process improvements on technical standards for company-wide adoption.
  • Prepare technical studies, reports, and proposals for management review and decision-making.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master's Degree is a plus).

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in construction research, engineering innovation, or product development within the real estate or construction industry.

Licensure: Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect preferred.

  • Innovative and analytical thinker with excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative and proactive in exploring new ideas for construction improvement.
